VP Sales & Marketing - Dublin
Our Client, incorporated in 2013, has developed and grown into an organisation with $1B in deployed capital, $697M in capital under management, and a management team with 220 year in accumulated experience.
As a business they focus primarily on mid to end-of-life aircraft investments that generate stable cash flows throughout North America, South America, Europe and Asia. They invest in undervalued aircraft and parts that benefit over time from market volatility to strong, stable cash flows and attractive fundamentals while actively protecting against downside risk. Taking an active approach to investing, seeking opportunities where significant value can be unlocked through capital restructuring, operational improvements, and strategic asset management.
Their continued growth means that as they increase their assets, they are looking for a marketing professional to be based in Dublin who will be able to add to this continued growth in the European region, in addition to acting as the Lead individual in the Dublin office with possible oversight of the team that will be grown there.
This position will cover Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
As key member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Maintaining close client relationships with all airlines in the territory and working to develop close relationships with key decision makers and senior fleet planning managers to identify
- Placement opportunities for aircraft coming off lease in the portfolio
- Purchase and leaseback opportunities involving the airlines’ new and/or existing aircraft equipment
Ideally degree educated, our ideal candidate will be Dublin based and have a minimum of 5 – 10 years (approximately) international experience in the Aviation Leasing industry, with in a sales, marketing or remarketing capacity. They should have a successful track record and demonstrable experience through different economic cycles, with either prominent aircraft lessor, financier, or within an airline’s aircraft trading group.
Highly commercial, you will have first class business development abilities, decision making, and problem-solving skills, and a clear understanding of the contractual and technical aspects of aircraft marketing.
The ability to “hit the ground running”, plus being an adaptable and creative team player, you will have first class presentation and communication skills, both written and oral, and be able to operate effectively at all levels, internally and externally.
This position will be based out of Dublin and a reasonable degree of international travel will be required.
